“ We had the opportunity to test out this restaurant after a considerable period of time. The cuisine was outstanding. We enjoyed the braised pork rice, braised beef noodle soup, braised beef brisket rice, and braised pork shoulder rice. All the dishes were excellent. We highly recommend ordering their chili sauce. It is excellent for both rice and noodles. They offer a larger space adjacent to the premises for larger gatherings. Their service is impeccable. They will promptly provide you with water upon your arrival. They are flexible with payment methods, including Google, Apple, and Samsung Pay. Underground parking may be somewhat limited in the event of an impending arrival of another vehicle. Beyond this, this establishment presents a satisfactory dining experience. We are fully committed to supporting local, smallscale restaurants in Alhambra. ”
“ I love this place so much that I drive all the way from Midtown LA to eat here. The atmosphere is friendly and welllit, with no music, which is honestly refreshing. The service is quick and helpful, with large portions of food coming out blisteringly fast. I highly recommend the Beef Noodle Soup. The meat is incredibly tender and the broth is ideal. They might ask if you want it spicy. I advise against this because the spice is actually just chili oil. It makes the soup a little too oily in my opinion, while not really adding much spice. Keep it classic. Youll love it! ”
“ Was trying to find a place for lunch on a random weekday. This place is excellent. Give the small hole in the wall vibe but inside is pretty spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent. I will say parking can be difficult but that shouldnt surprise anyone in the area. Small underground lot if you cant find anything upstairs Had the braised beef plate. Big portions, tasty and well braised beef. Veggies on the side were on the saltier side for my liking, but overall Id get it again. Got the beef noodle soup as well. I thought the broth could be a littler more rich, on the lighter side than I usually like it. Not pictured but also tried the pork spare rib noodle soup. The spare ribs were tasty and fell off the bone. Overall enjoyed the food and staff. Would come back again to try some other dishes like the braised pork ”
“ This spot offers solid, traditional TaiwaneseShanghainese comfort food. The place maintains a high level of cleanliness, and the service is truly topnotch. The staffs food recommendations are spoton and they are super friendly. Dont miss out on their signature dishesthe House Special Braised Beef Noodles and the Braised Pork Rice Plate. The Beef Noodle Soup boasts a flavorful broth with incredibly tender beef. Their version of the Braised Pork Rice Plate is what Id call Deluxe compared to other placesits exceptionally tasty and definitely worth the 14.99 price tag as of Nov 2023. Ill undoubtedly return to explore more items on the menu and highly recommend this spot! Quick tip Youll find this restaurant nestled within an office building at the corner of Garfield and Valley. There are many underground parking available, so even if the ground level parking is full, its still relatively easy to find a spot. ”
“ Had lunch with colleagues. Normally, I dont like noodles, but it surprised me. The beef noodles is so good, and I love the spicy fish. The restaurant is not too big, but clean, price is pretty good. Try it. ”
“ This place is a hidden gem. Hidden to me because I grew up locally in a Chinese family and never heard of this place then again I dont know if they were around as long as The Hat across the street of the opposite corner. This place serves authentic Chinese food and I dont ever remember any of the dish names but they are familiar to me because my grandma would make them so home. Braised pork and rice was a staple dish in my household when I was growing up and this restaurant serves it. They also serve a house special noodle which was also familiar and tasty. Id like to return and try their duck. I highly recommend this place and dont be afraid if you dont speak Chinese, they have English subtitles in the menu and a friendly staff. They are also rated an A for food and safety. ”
“ This place was a pleasant surprise. Its very much comfort food. I ordered the rice and braised pork and rice and pork elbow. Both were delicious. I would totally recommend ordering with the chili. They put it on the side and you can put in as much as you like in each bite. Beef noodle soup was good. My kids enjoyed all the food too. Definitely will come back ”
“ These days there are not many places that open later, but this one happened to pop up when my friends and I were looking for a place to eat after 8 pm. As a fan of beef noodle soup, I was excited to try this place out. They have a wide variety of Chinese and Taiwanese dishes. I ended up ordering the beef noodle soup which was delicious. For the cost, they give you a good amount of beef noodle soup. My friend got the rice cakes we shared some pigs ears. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean bright. I cant wait to come back to try out more things on the menu. ”
